Per Diem Primary Care Physician (Casual Employee)

This is a casual/per diem, hourly clinician role with an anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, varying according to office needs. Candidates must be willing to see patients across multiple offices in Durham, NC as needed.
About the role
- Seeing patients with a broad array of needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)
- Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional telehealth visits
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
- Utilization of your specific clinical training with opportunities to perform in-office procedures
- Willingness to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
Requirements
- At least 2 years of primary care experience
- Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes

Pay
The hourly rate for this role is $135.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be available for candidates who exceed specified qualifications and requirements.
