Per Diem Physical Therapist / PTA

About the role

SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking Per-Diem Physical Therapists and PTAs to provide coverage at multiple locations in Essex County. We are a leading outpatient physical therapy practice in the Northeast, offering multidisciplinary care with state-of-the-art equipment for orthopedic and sports-related injuries. Our mission is to provide compassionate, collaborative, and convenient care, with opportunities for clinical growth.

Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, including physician referrals and direct access.
• Assess each patient and develop appropriate rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers such as Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Occupational Therapists.
• Complete notes thoroughly and in a timely manner to ensure collaborative care.
• Work toward clinical excellence through continuing education (CEUs).
• Participate in monthly clinic meetings to address challenges and improve workflow.
• Attend company-wide meetings to discuss initiatives for improving clinical excellence and patient care.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapist License or PTA License.
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
