Per Diem Physical Therapist I or II - Physical Therapy OP Orange- Day Shift
The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks a Physical Therapist II to provide a full range of physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. Essential functions include working with patients of all ages, managing a caseload, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and mobility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Discharge patients and provide follow-up care as needed
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy License in California
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist
- Experience working with infants and children aged 0 to 21 (CCS paneling/approval required within one year of hire)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to clinics and other campus offices as needed
- Compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy program
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems
