Job Duties
- Fulfills the Noble Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients
- Supports fulfillment of specialty or niche distribution products
- Obtains and maintains licensure in other states as required
- Provides support and guidance to patients as part of Noble’s Clinical Management Programs
- Ensures compliance with all Noble policies and procedures
- Participates in after-hours/on-call rotation as required
- Performs all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed
- Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
- Follows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy
- Maintains and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs
- Oversees the transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders to and from the Noble Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed
- Oversees the checking of pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing of all returns
- Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
- Ensures compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to Mississippi, New York State, and all other states that prescriptions are dispensed and delivered to
- Ensures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to ensure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span
- Ensures outstanding customer service is always exhibited by all employees
- Ensures all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and reports deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
- Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions
- Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
- Facilitates communication between professional staff and Noble personnel
- Affords assistance in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines
- Affords assistance in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel
- Interfaces with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed
- Completes all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
- Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift
- Limited lifting up to 30lbs
