Per Diem Pharmacist-PRN

About the role

NuvemRx Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
• Management of staff pharmacist and technicians, if applicable. Address knowledge gaps by increasing knowledge through education and training.
• Pharmacy operational management and oversight. This includes:
• Patient Safety
• Pharmacy Professional Practice
• Regulatory Requirements
• Quality Assurance
• Customer Service
• Personnel Management
• Inventory Management
• Financial Profitability
• Loss Prevention
• Workflow Management

Qualifications

• Required Education & Licenses: Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required. Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing.
• Preferred Experience and Skills: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required. 2 years related pharmacy experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional patient service skills.
