Per Diem Pharmacist-PRN

About the role

Nuvem’s Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to cover or provide overlap for the current pharmacy manager. The goal is to empower you in managing the pharmacy and personnel in collaboration with the pharmacy manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage pharmacy relationships with health center clients, including interactions with clinic providers and their clinical staff.
• Provide drug-related education and act as a member of the patient care team.
• Attend clinical meetings.
• Demonstrate the highest standard of patient quality care, from advising on prescriptions to managing chronic and specialty conditions.
• Lead and direct pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals.
• Manage pharmacy operational aspects such as patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
• Stay current with HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse credentialing.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Comply with local facility policies.

Requirements

• Required Education & Licenses: Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state in which you are practicing. Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.
• Preferred Experience And Skills: Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting, 340B knowledge is a bonus but not required. 3 years related pharmacy experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional patient service skills.

$60-70/hr

Schedule

Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM, No major holidays, No weekends
