Per - diem Pharmacist

Overview

This position is in a rehabilitation hospital setting and offers the opportunity to work a full-time schedule while supporting pharmacy operations and patient care services. Specific coverage dates are needed, though candidates interested in working the full assignment duration are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy staffing and clinical support services in a hospital setting
• Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with applicable regulations and policies
• Supervise and provide oversight to Pharmacy Technicians during assigned shifts
• Ensure accurate medication order processing and documentation
• Participate in patient medication management and pharmacy operations
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy, hospital, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support quality patient care
• Support IV compounding activities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license
• Recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• IV Compounding experience required
• Strong medication management and clinical pharmacy skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Willingness to participate in weekend, after-hours, and on-call coverage if needed
