About the role

Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) combines the academic distinction of ColumbiaDoctors with the clinical strength of NewYork-Presbyterian to deliver world-class MRI and PET CT services. Our mission is to detect and treat conditions that may otherwise go unnoticed, advance research, and elevate the patient experience through cutting-edge technology and compassionate care.

We’re seeking a dedicated Patient Safety Coordinator (RN) to lead initiatives that enhance patient safety, drive performance improvement, and foster a culture of excellence. This is a patient-facing clinical role – not an administration position. This role is focused on quality, safety, and continuous learning, where you’ll work directly with patients and clinical teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and care are upheld in every interaction. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a hands-on, patient-centered environment and is passionate about driving safety and quality in the clinical space. This role also maintains an indirect but collaborative relationship with the NYP Quality & Patient Safety (QPS) team, aligning department initiatives with broader institutional goals and standards.
