About the role

A working Patient Registrar who, in addition to registering and scheduling, has a working knowledge of ICD 10 codes. This position is for a rotating shift, Monday - Friday at our offsite Physical Therapy OP site in Eastchester.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients
• Assist patients with questions and concerns
• Maintain knowledge of ICD 10 codes
• Keep families informed
• Deliver superior customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills
• Effective communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college
• Knowledge of insurance benefits/requirements
