Per-Diem Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following advanced protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced patient care.
• Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
• Act as team leader, managing scene safety and unit coordination as needed.
• Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and organizational image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility tests.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
