Responsibilities
- Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following advanced protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids to provide advanced patient care.
- Communicate with patients and their loved ones to provide reassurance and information.
- Act as team leader, managing scene safety and unit coordination as needed.
- Drive ambulances during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and organizational image.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility tests.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
