Role: Paramedic
Responsibilities
- Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions following advanced protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and IVs to deliver advanced patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing reassurance and information.
- Take on scene and unit management responsibilities as a team leader when necessary.
- Operate ambulances during emergency responses to ensure swift patient transport.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote the organization’s image and strengthen community relations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility tests.
- Some healthcare work experience preferred.
