Per Diem Optometrist – Saturdays – $650–$750/Day – New Independent Optical Practice – Bronx, NY (3545 White Plains Rd, Bronx, NY 10467, USA)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations
• Perform refractions and prescribe corrective lenses
• Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within scope of practice
• Perform routine glaucoma and ocular health assessments
• Conduct and/or supervise contact lens evaluations and fittings
• Educate patients regarding eye health and vision care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with optical and pharmacy staff to provide an excellent patient experience
• Make appropriate referrals to ophthalmologists and other specialists when necessary
