Per Diem Ophthalmologist – Belfast

About the role

This role is ideal for a physician passionate about providing high-quality eye care and enjoying a mix of office-based visits and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide office-based evaluation and management of ophthalmic conditions for patients of all ages
• Perform surgical procedures based on your training and scope (e.g., cataract surgery, minor ocular procedures)
• Work alongside experienced ophthalmologists and clinical staff
• Participate in regional call coverage rotation

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Ophthalmology
• Licensed, or eligible for Maine state medical licensure
• Experience in both clinical and surgical ophthalmology
• Strong commitment to patient care and collaborative practice
