About the role

The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for the prevention, recognition, and treatment of on-the-job illness and injuries. This position requires skills and knowledge in health and safety education, counseling, environmental health, safety, rehabilitation, and human relations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as corporate health service policies and procedures.
• Promote optimum health care and safety in the workplace in accordance with the goals and values of the profession and Stellantis.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision, effectively manage medical emergencies, and often work as the single medical care provider.
• Work towards promoting optimum health care and safety in the workplace in accordance with the goals and values of the profession and Stellantis.

Requirements

• Achieve associate degree in nursing.
• Have 3+ years of RN experience.
• Hold a valid state nursing license in good standing.
• Pass Basic Life Support Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Have minimum 3 years of Occupational health or emergency and/or critical care nursing experience.
• Pass Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
