Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET CT

About the role
Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. You’ll warmly greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include assessing patient condition, producing good quality images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
This is a Per Diem position, working on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical procedures using radionuclides for diagnosis and treatment
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff
- Assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams
- Assess patient condition
- Produce high-quality images
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Nuclear Medicine License/Registration by New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) certification to perform PET/CT exams
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of PET CT experience (preferred)
- If working in PET/CT, two years of current PET/CT experience

Pay
Salary Range: $72.00/hour
