Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT

About the Role

The Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging using PET/CT technology, collaborating with healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conducts imaging procedures using PET/CT technology
• Ensures image quality and safety standards are met
• Maintains and operates imaging equipment
• Adheres to regulatory and accreditation standards
• Provides patient education and supports patient comfort
• Maintains accurate records and documentation
• Assists in developing and following exam protocols
• Ensures infection control and compliance with safety guidelines

Requirements

• Current state license in Nuclear Medicine
• ARRT or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification
• IV certification
• At least one year of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PET/CT experience
• Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g., ACR, IAC)
• Experience supporting Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) activities

This is a clinic-based position supporting molecular medicine accreditations and contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Schedule

4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts (4 10s).

Pay

Salary ranges from $43.09 to $66.47 hourly, with potential sign-on bonus.
