About the Role
The Per Diem PET/CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic PET/CT procedures, diagnostic CT scans, and general nuclear medicine imaging. They administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media, ensure compliance with safety and quality control policies, prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and document procedures using EMR, RIS, and PACS systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct PET/CT and diagnostic CT exams
- Provide patient care, including IV administration of radioactive materials
- Perform quality assurance and calibration of imaging equipment
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Participate in continuing education
- Foster effective communication and teamwork
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine program
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine
- Certification (NMTCB or ARRT(N))
- BLS certification
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation

- Bachelor's degree
- Additional certifications
- Extensive PET/CT experience
Pay
Compensation ranges from $28.94 to $51.63 hourly.
