Per Diem - Multi-Imaging Technologist (Evening Shift)

About the role

The successful candidate will perform routine exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adhering to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. In the inpatient setting, responsibilities may include assignments to specialty areas such as the Emergency Department, Operating Room, or Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including scanners, power injectors, computers, and software programs to input patient information into hospital databases.
• Contribute to the department's excellence through maintaining high standards of technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration (Radiologic Technology), RDMS registration (Diagnostic Medical Sonography), or CCI certificate (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) in each appropriate work-related modality within twelve months of hire.
• State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology technology as appropriate.
• Ability to resolve problems using basic principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge.
• Ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration (Radiologic Technology), RDMS registration (Diagnostic Medical Sonography), or CCI certificate (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) within twelve months of hire.
• State of New Jersey licensure in Radiology technology as appropriate.
• Requires the ability to analyze problems and apply technical and interpersonal skills.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Pay

The salary range for this position is provided to comply with New Jersey law. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
