Per Diem MRI Technologist - Beverly Hills
About the role
Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures and functions that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on members/patients of all age groups. Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol, ensuring proper documentation. Assume responsibilities for designated areas of MRI equipment, producing high-quality technical images and reviewing completed exams for quality and completeness. Troubleshoot departmental technical issues according to correct procedural guidelines. Practice and employ ALARA principles for all patients and members. Ensure all QC sheets are completed accurately and review the schedule for any gaps in coverage.
Requirements
- Previous experience with Siemens 3.0T Systems required
- 5-10 years of MRI experience, previous supervisory experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program
- ARRT (MR) Certified and in good standing
- California State License (CRT)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Yearly MRI Safety Certification (Level 2) required
- Ability to work extended hours or emergency shifts if necessary to maintain safe department coverage
- 24 ECE credits over a two-year period to meet continuing education requirements
- IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-months’ orientation
- MRSO/MRSE certification from American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety preferred
Pay
$80-100/hr

Potential for weekend availability as we scale the west coast region.
