About the role

Midwives at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Medical Group provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care for women, including underserved populations. They act as a vital resource for women and families throughout their entire life span, practicing full scope care and collaborating with physicians for high-risk patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for women
• Collaborate with physicians for high-risk patients
• Practice full scope care for patients
• Take call on Labor and Delivery
• Work in a newly built L&D unit with modern technology and enhanced safety features
• Include weekend and holiday coverage

Requirements

• Current New York State certification as a midwife
• Experience in midwifery care
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in midwifery or related field
• Current New York State certification as a midwife
• Experience in midwifery care

Pay

$105.00/Hourly

Schedule

One 12-hour shift minimum, includes weekend and holiday coverage.
