Per Diem Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Greenfield, MA

Baystate Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient psychiatry team in a flexible per diem/on-call role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PMHNP looking for additional clinical work while maintaining schedule flexibility.

About the role

• Per diem/on-call position designed to provide additional coverage for the inpatient psychiatry service
• Primary need for weekend and holiday coverage
• Flexible scheduling based on departmental needs and provider availability
• Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based medication management
• Manage acute and chronic psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and an experienced multidisciplinary team
• Opportunity to care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
• Work within an academic health system with opportunities to collaborate with learners and participate in a teaching environment

Qualifications

• Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Previous PMHNP experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively and independently in an inpatient environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Pay

Salary range: $144,610–$183,175 (exempt, full-time equivalent). Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
