Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in ICU and Telemetry to join a local healthcare staffing team for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for day and night shifts, allowing nurses to choose shifts that suit their lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality care
- Assess and monitor patients
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and families
- Provide high-quality patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, collaborate with medical teams, maintain records, and educate patients
Qualifications And Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Additional credentials may be required based on specific assignments
