Per-Diem Hospice RN Night Shift
About the role
Broad Reach Healthcare is a hospice provider based in Cape Cod, established in 1986. They offer comprehensive care services, including CMS 5-Star rated facilities, and prioritize quality and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Work on-call from 4pm – 8am only, picking up shifts as needed.
- Triage all phone calls received through the answering service between 4pm and 8am for Broad Reach Hospice patients.
- Visit hospice patients as required for patient/family support and assist day nursing staff.
- Provide expert nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support tailored to each patient's needs.
Requirements
- A licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts, with experience in hospice or palliative care preferred but not required.
- Compassion and a deep understanding of the emotional complexities involved in end-of-life care.
- An exceptional communicator and a strong advocate for patient and family needs.
- A team player who collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
The role requires a license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts. Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred but not required.

Benefits
Competitive hourly pay range of $43 - $54/hour, based on experience.
