Find out how you can Make It Possible! The position is located at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital campus in Cortlandt Manor/Upper Westchester County, NY. All employees must live within a commutable distance to the hospital; on‑site presence is required and travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Tissue processing
- Embedding
- Cutting
- Cover slipping
- Routine and special staining
- Quality control
- Record keeping
Requirements
NYS license as a Histotechnologist or Clinical Laboratory Technologist; meets current NYS requirements for Histotechnologist.
Qualifications
AAS in a laboratory‑related field; ASCP certification in Histotechnology or equivalent.
Skills
Ability to perform careful, accurate laboratory tests using prescribed techniques with reasonable speed.

Pay
Salary range: $65.00 per hour.
Schedule
Per Diem day shift, 4:00 am – 7:45 am.
