Per diem CT Tech

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 Under the Supervision of the lead technologist, the technologist will follow established policies, perform established CT protocols, venipuncture, tele-radiography, complete routine clerical tasks and assist patients. The technologist will apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness or injury. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience Minimum 1-2 years of CT experience, preferably in a hospital environmentExcellent communication, customer service and organizational skillsAbility to work productively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing as neededHigh level of technical and informatics knowledge and skillMust perform venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of the radiologist. Must follow all hospital and departmental contrast administration policies and procedures. Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience Siemens and Toshiba experienceSynapse/PACS experienceMeditech experiencePrevious Cerner experience a plus Educational Requirements Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology. License/Certification ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computerized TomographyMassachusetts DPH Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Computerized TomographyVenipuncture certification which is provided from the institution during the 12 week probationary period. Salary Range: $35.88-$55.56 Salary Range Details The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
