About the role
The Gig CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The technologist communicates effectively with patients and healthcare professionals and floats between designated facilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain imaging quality standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Adapt to different facility environments
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical hours completed
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification
- State licensure may be required based on location
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various movements
