About the Role
Provides patient care in collaboration with physicians, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for both new and established patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, establish presumptive diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
- Order, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within scope.
- Perform procedures within licensed practice.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and staff via various channels.
- Provide patient education, advocate for safe and ethical care, and address health concerns.
- Document clinical findings accurately and adhere to policies and guidelines.
- Monitor patient safety, report significant risks, and adjust treatments as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies preferred.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to perform procedures within scope of practice.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and continuous learning.
