About the role

The primary responsibility is to perform routine radiographic exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting, adhering to established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. In the inpatient setting, this may include assignments to specialty areas like the Emergency Department (ED), Operating Room (OR), or Fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Enter patient-related information into hospital databases using computers and various software programs.
• Contribute to the department's excellence through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification within twelve months of working in that modality or prior to ACR re-accreditation date.
• State of New Jersey licensure required.
• Ability to solve problems using basic principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge.
• Ability to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.

Qualifications

Pay

The salary range is provided to comply with New Jersey Law. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.
