Responsibilities
- Provide Athletic Training Services (70%)
- Provide on-site athletic training services for practices and contests hosted by Endicott College.
- Comply with NCAA, conference, athletic department, industry, and institutional guidelines, recommendations, and regulations.
- Adhere to the NATA Code of Ethics, state practice act, NATA and NCAA best practices, and team physician standing orders.
- Provide counseling and education to student-athletes within the scope of practice.
- Evaluate Athletic Injuries and Illnesses (20%)
- Evaluate injuries and illnesses sustained by varsity or club student-athletes and refer to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Provide urgent and emergent care following NATA and NCAA best practices.
- Administer treatment and rehabilitation exercises for athletic injuries or illnesses.
- Administrative Duties (10%)
- Document all injuries and treatments and communicate with full-time athletic training staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment in the Athletic Training clinic(s).
- Collaborate with coaching staff and athletic department personnel to ensure safety of facilities, environments, and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
- Valid national certification from the BOC.
- Valid CPR/AED Certification.
- Valid Massachusetts State licensure through the Board of Allied Health Professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with college-age students.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $53.00 per hour. Endicott College considers factors such as job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay.
