About the role

A&M is a global consulting firm focusing on improving operating results for private equity portfolio companies. The PEPI Operations group targets high growth and offers opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target’s manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities.
  • Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity.
  • Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing, or consolidation of facilities.
  • Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience, with 4+ years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions.
  • Deep functional expertise in supply chain operations, manufacturing operations, footprint optimization, plant consolidation, and product line transfer.
  • Specific experience designing and leading the execution of internally focused and externally focused change/communications strategy.
  • Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.
  • Previous strategy and change management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

  • Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Supply Chain Operations
  • Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP
  • Footprint optimization, plant consolidation and product line transfer
  • Manufacturing strategy, CapEx planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT
  • Lever, Six Sigma, TOC and Value Engineering

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

The salary range is $125,000--$170,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program and a 401(k)-retirement plan. Employees are also eligible for paid time off, including vacation, personal days, sick time, and holidays.

Schedule

Full-time positions and part-time positions are offered. Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for fringe benefits such as healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, as well as a 401(k)-retirement plan.
