PEPI: Senior Associate, Operations & Manufacturing (OPEN TO ALL U.S. LOCATIONS)

A&M is a global consulting firm focusing on serving middle market and large cap private equity firms. Our team specializes in manufacturing and distribution operations, helping clients improve their portfolio companies' operating results.
Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target’s manufacturing and distribution operations
- Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities
- Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity
- Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing, or consolidation of facilities
- Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies
- Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in manufacturing and/or distribution functions
- Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP, Footprint Optimization, Plant Consolidation and Product Line Transfer, Manufacturing Strategy, CapEx Planning, Manufacturing 4.0/IIoT, Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, and Value Engineering
- Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis
- Specific experience designing and leading the execution of internally focused and externally focused change/communications strategy

- Bachelor’s degree required

Pay
The salary range is $125,000 - $170,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
