About the role

PeopleTools Consultant – Remote Bright Vision Technologies is a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Own the technical backbone of the PeopleSoft platform, including PeopleTools upgrades, image applications, security configurations, search server operations, and integration with cloud and middleware platforms.
• Work closely with cross‑functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, business stakeholders) to translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions.
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Demonstrate strong engineering discipline, clear communication, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up in production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands‑on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience operating PeopleSoft on OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Exposure to infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD patterns for PeopleSoft change management.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Selective Adoption strategy.

Pay

Salary range: $95,000–$110,000 annually.

Schedule

Full‑time.
