PeopleSoft Interface Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Interface Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. This role focuses specifically on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft integrations using Integration Broker.
• Build and operate REST and SOAP web services within PeopleSoft.
• Implement service operations, queues, routings, transformations, and error handling.
• Configure web service security standards (WS-Security, OAuth2).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into engineered solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
• Support PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API management concepts.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus.

Benefits

• Full-time, Direct W2 position.
• Salary range: $85,000–$115,000 annually.
