PeopleSoft Interface Developer

About the role

PeopleSoft Interface Developer – Remote at Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company delivering cloud, AI, data, and enterprise solutions across the United States. This is a full-time, direct W2 position (100% remote, U.S.) with sponsorship open to U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates (new H-1B petitions not sponsored). Salary range: $85,000–$115,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third‑party platforms.
• Work on the integration layer including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (product, design, engineering, operations, business stakeholders) to translate ambiguous requirements into well‑engineered solutions.
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of junior engineers.
• Maintain strong engineering discipline, clear communication, and a track record of shipping production‑quality work.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker
• Hands‑on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON
• Experience with web service security standards (WS‑Security, OAuth2)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model
• Familiarity with middleware platforms (OIC, MuleSoft, Boomi) is a strong plus
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches

Preferred Qualifications

• PeopleSoft certifications
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications
• Exposure to event‑driven integration patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft
• Strong understanding of API management concepts

Pay

$85,000–$115,000 annually
