About the role
We are seeking a PeopleSoft FSCM Business Systems Analyst II to join our Information Technology team in Boone, NC (or another approved on-site location). Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
- Maintain and support business systems by reviewing, testing, and implementing system upgrades, patches, fixes, and configuration changes in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Gather, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for system enhancements, translating operational needs into effective system solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans for system changes and enhancements, partnering with business owners and subject matter experts to validate functionality and obtain implementation approval.
- Provide ongoing production support by researching and resolving system issues, unexpected results, and process gaps while recommending effective solutions or alternative approaches.
- Develop, maintain, and support reports and queries that meet business needs, provide actionable information, and help ensure system data accuracy and integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field and/or at least two (2) years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) modules, including Inventory, Manufacturing, Maintenance Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Asset Management, and related modules.
- Experience with Oracle technologies and system integrations is preferred.
- General knowledge of application testing, system configuration, deployment, business systems analysis, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ability to assist with solution analysis, business process mapping, and process flow development to improve operational efficiency and support business objectives.
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
