PeopleSoft Developer/Consultant for HHSC, Austin, Tx

Location: 4601 W. Guadalupe Street, Austin, TX 78701 (remote within Texas)

Duration: Ongoing, no ending date

Visa: Must be US Citizen, Green Card, or EAD holder

Requirements

• 8+ years of PeopleTools development experience, including at least 2 years with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher
• 8+ years of advanced Oracle database experience
• 8+ years of experience reading and interpreting .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures
• 8+ years of legacy-to-PeopleSoft complex data-migration experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity
• Ability to review, analyze, and modify programming systems—encoding, testing, debugging—to support ERP applications
• Ensures software integration into the ERP system and maintains technical documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain legacy logic to project teams and stakeholders
• Independently performs complex tasks, leads or directs others, and exercises creativity and latitude

Preferences

• 4+ years of experience with public-sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government)
• 2+ years of experience with Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials
• 2+ years of experience with Jira
• 1+ years of experience with the Scrum framework

Responsibilities

• Analyze a legacy .NET-based system, reverse-engineer business logic, and extract critical data
• Develop and migrate PeopleSoft Financials modules for a critical agency project
• Coordinate software integration and maintain technical documentation
• Perform standard SDLC tasks and other project-related duties as needed
• Occasional off-hours work may be required depending on project phase

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Time

Currently remote; if hybrid, on-site days will be negotiated.
