Peoplesoft Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with PeopleSoft Finance experience to support the Deloitte project team. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a bridge between finance stakeholders, Product Owners, business users, and technology teams, translating business needs into system requirements, product priorities, process improvements, and delivery plans. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PeopleSoft Finance, business process analysis, requirements gathering, Agile delivery, testing, data analysis, and production support. This role will contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, integration, and continuous improvement of PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related corporate finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Product Owner, finance leaders, business stakeholders, and internal users to understand business needs and support product prioritization and decision-making.
• Analyze, maintain, enhance, and support PeopleSoft Finance capabilities and related finance systems.
• Research and gather business and system data to support project objectives, solution design, and business decisions.
• Analyze and document complex finance business processes, workflows, requirements, and system dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, usability, data quality, controls, and overall user experience.
• Translate business requirements into:
  • Epics
  • Features
  • User stories
  • Process flows
  • Acceptance criteria
  • Functional requirements
  • Other delivery documentation
• Facilitate backlog refinement and support sprint planning in collaboration with Product Owners, developers, testers, data teams, finance stakeholders, and technology partners.
• Clarify requirements, business rules, and expected outcomes for development and configuration teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
