About the role

As the first People & Talent hire, you will build the talent acquisition function and people operations foundation from scratch. You'll partner with founders to source top-tier talent, design interview processes, and manage global people operations across multiple geographies. This is a hands-on role defining the culture and scaling a high-growth organization.

This role is remarkable because:

• You are the first dedicated People hire, giving you full ownership to design the talent machine and people strategy without legacy constraints.
• The company is well-funded by top-tier VCs and has achieved significant market traction, reaching profitability while scaling rapidly across multiple regions.
• You will work directly with the founding team to define the organizational character and culture of a breakout company in a new market category.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end recruitment for GTM, engineering, and operations roles to scale the global team.
• Build the people operations foundation, including onboarding, payroll, compensation frameworks, and international compliance.
• Cultivate the company culture and team rituals to maintain high engagement across a distributed, international workforce.

Requirements

• Proven experience in talent acquisition and people operations at a high-growth startup, specifically building functions from the ground up.
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage complex cross-border employment and payroll across the US and Europe.
• Exceptional judgment in identifying high-caliber talent and a track record of closing candidates in competitive markets.
