People Support Center - Benefits Rep 1 (Contract)
About the role
The People Support Center Representative is responsible for reviewing, processing, and entering transactions involving confidential employee information while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role places a strong emphasis on benefits administration and serves as a key support resource for the organization's benefits operations.
Responsibilities
- Benefits Inbox & Incoming Mail Management — Monitor, respond to, and route the benefits inbox and incoming mail on a daily basis; serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries. Includes review of Qualifying Life Events (QLE's)
- Collaboration & Coordination – Partner with HR teams and operations to ensure seamless HR processes and issue resolution. Support the rest of the PSC team with people transactions as needed.
- Open Enrollment Support — Assist with employee elections, system testing, and daily enrollment audits during the open enrollment period (October – December)
- Discrepancy Resolution — Partner to identify and escalate deduction discrepancies, overpayments, and system issues between UKG Pro and Ben Admin; escalate complex issues as needed.
- Weekly Benefits Audit — Partner to conduct weekly audits of benefit deductions and enrollment data; maintain an ongoing audit history log to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in HR, benefits knowledge & support
- Familiarity with HRIS systems; UKG Pro experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Preferred Requirements: Strong Benefits knowledge & support, experience auditing
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
