People Rewards Specialist (Benefits experience required - Nashville, TN)
About the role
The People Rewards Specialist supports the delivery and administration of employee benefits and leave programs across North America. Key responsibilities include managing escalated employee cases, administering the Businessolver platform, supporting open enrollment, facilitating benefits programs, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining benefits communication.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between service center and rewards services, manage escalated employee cases through ServiceNow, Health Advocate, Alight, and other vendors.
- Administer the Businessolver benefits platform, including enrollment oversight, eligibility management, carrier billing, dependent verification, and content updates.
- Support the annual Open Enrollment process, including system testing, communications, and complex employee inquiries.
- Facilitate benefits program administration such as life events, benefit appeals, retiree claims, scholarship programs, and employee perks.
- Coverage of benefits operations and onsite employee events, coordinate with internal partners and external vendors.
- Maintain benefits communication & content through the People Portal, support/coordinate email campaigns, and home mailers, contribute to benefits projects, and conduct benefit training and orientations.
- Support regulatory and compliance activities including annual notices, PCORI fees, and Form 5500 coordination, in addition to coordinating periodic audits and conducting plan reconciliations to monitor service provider performance and ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (preferred), or minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in Human Resources, Organizational Transformation, Process Optimization, Payroll Management, Accounting, HR Technology and Digitization, or equivalent.
Skills include benefits administration, HR operations, or HR systems, with experience working with HRIS or benefits platforms and managing vendor relationships is preferred.
Qualifications
Your qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree/Vocational Education in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Organization Development or equivalent.
Skills
Strong attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and persuasive with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support escalated employee issues with professionalism.
Benefits
The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $29.00 to $45.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.
