People Partner, Global Products & Engineering
About the role
The People Partner is a hands-on role supporting the Global Products & Technology organization. This role will work closely with business leaders and front-line managers to manage talent.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the HR point of contact for all Global Products & Technology leaders (Directors and Front-line Managers).
- Meets weekly with relevant functional leaders, providing HR guidance as needed.
- Maintains effective Performance Improvement cadence and tracking (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary escalations, etc.).
- Works closely with leaders and employees to promote Veeam core values, improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Partners with FP&A and People Partner team to reconcile headcount and position management.
- Partners with Total Rewards team to advance and promote pay equity initiatives.
- Supports the function for Governance and Compliance policies and issues.
- Acts as liaison with other P&C teams (e.g., Recruiting, HR Operations, etc.).
- Identifies training needs and partners with leadership to recommend solutions.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
- Provides change management support as needed.
- Other responsibilities and tasks, including ad hoc administrative support, as assigned.
Requirements
- HRBP experience supporting engineering teams in a tech organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of HR planning principles; Strategic workforce planning concepts and tools.
- Self-starter – ability to navigate in a matrix organization and move quickly to resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role.
- Education in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven track record of successful HRBP engagements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Skills
- Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range. In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.
Schedule
This role will be required to be onsite at our San Jose, California location 2-3 days per week.
