About the role

This role offers the opportunity to shape how leadership, performance culture, and talent strategy evolve as Figma’s Product Engineering and Data organizations continue to grow and mature.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product Engineering + Data leadership teams as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on leadership effectiveness, organizational design, and talent strategy
  • Support continued scaling of the Product Engineering & Data organizations by evolving team structures, roles, and operating models in line with boarder Engineering organizational growth and productivity goals
  • Coach senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness, and performance in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
  • Partner with Product Engineering and Data Leadership to evolve performance and compensation frameworks, talent planning, and succession strategies that drive business outcomes and accountability
  • Identify and address organizational friction points by improving cross-functional alignment and operational clarity across PDE
  • Embed as a key partner across cross-functional stakeholders - including other Engineering and regional People Partners, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning & Development, BEI, and People Relations - to drive and deliver high-impact people initiatives.
  • Leverage data, organizational insights, and employee feedback to proactively inform decisions and drive measurable improvements in team health, effectiveness, and performance
  • Develop and drive people strategy in service of Engineering priorities, ensuring alignment with the broader PDE strategy

Requirements

8+ years in HR / People roles, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders in a high-growth company

Proven track record partnering with PDE clients, especially Engineering

Strong background in organizational design, leadership coaching, and change management

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment on complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Skilled at leveraging data and insights to inform decisions and translate business strategy into talent and organizational strategy

Experience in high-growth SaaS or product-led companies

Scaling organizations through rapid growth and transformation

Partnering closely with executive leadership teams

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Experience with HRIS systems

Experience with performance management tools

Experience with compensation and benefits administration

Experience with employee engagement surveys and analytics

Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Experience with talent acquisition and development programs

Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution

Experience with organizational development and change management

Experience with remote and hybrid work arrangements

Experience with agile methodologies and project management

Skills

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $245,000 USD.

Schedule

This role is full-time and can be based in one of Figma’s US hubs or remotely within the United States.
