About the role
Allegheny Millwork is seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting and support key human resources functions across the Allegheny Diversified family of companies. This position combines talent acquisition expertise with core HR responsibilities, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS management, policy administration, and compliance. The People Operations Specialist will partner closely with leaders across multiple business units to attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent in a variety of roles ranging from skilled trades and manufacturing positions to professional and administrative careers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-company environment while delivering exceptional employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across all Allegheny Diversified companies, from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
- Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, trade schools, career fairs, and employee referral programs.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill positions, particularly within skilled trades, construction, manufacturing,
