About The Role
The role serves as the operational backbone of the HR and People team, owning the execution of onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and HR systems management. This position ensures that administrative and operational workflows scale smoothly as the company grows. The role acts as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policy, and HR tools, maintaining data integrity across the HR tech stack and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding logistics, offboarding processes, and internal transfers
- Administer and maintain HR systems including Rippling, Sequoia One, and compliance databases, ensuring absolute data integrity
- Resolve daily employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll adjustments, and leave of absence policies in a timely manner
- Coordinate annual compliance requirements, including EEO-1 reporting, state-by-state registration, and mandatory workplace training programs
- Audit HR processes and data pipelines to identify bottlenecks and automate repetitive workflows using integrations
- Generate monthly and quarterly HR metrics reports on headcount, turnover, and employee engagement survey participation
What We Are Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience in People Operations, HR Coordination, or HR Generalist roles, ideally within a scaling technology environment
- Hands-on proficiency with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling, BambooHR, Workday) and payroll systems
- Deep familiarity with multi-state labor laws, compliance requirements, and employee benefits administration
- Exceptional attention to detail and experience handling sensitive or confidential employee data with discretion
- Strong communication skills with a track record of translating complex policies into clear instructions for employees
- Bonus: Experience managing HR operations for remote or distributed workforces, or professional certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP
