About The Role
The role drives the execution and optimization of core people processes, ensuring a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. This position serves as the operational backbone of the HR department, managing employee data systems, compliance, benefits administration, and internal mobility programs. By partnering closely with finance, legal, and IT, the role ensures that HR tools and workflows scale efficiently alongside a rapidly growing remote workforce. The position requires a systems-thinking approach to HR tech stacks and a deep commitment to maintaining clean, actionable employee data.
Key Responsibilities
- Own HRIS administration, data integrity, and system configurations within Workday and auxiliary HR software platforms
- Manage end-to-end US benefits administration including annual open enrollment, compliance reporting (ACA, EEO-1), and vendor billing audits
- Design and execute scalable remote onboarding and offboarding frameworks to maintain a high-touch employee experience
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to update state-specific employee handbooks, manage leave-of-absence programs (FMLA, short-term disability), and monitor remote-work compliance
- Generate monthly and quarterly headcount, turnover, and diversity metrics reports for leadership using advanced Excel and BI visualization tools
- Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and workplace policies via a centralized ticketing queue with a defined SLA
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles, ideally within a high-growth technology company
- Direct, hands-on administration experience with modern HRIS platforms (such as Workday, Rippling, or BambooHR) and ticketing systems (like Zendesk or Jira Service Desk)
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, benefits compliance, and multi-state payroll practices
- Exceptional data manipulation skills, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and data visualization tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bonus: Professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP or PHR) and experience scaling operations for a fully remote workforce
