About The Role

The role drives the day-to-day operations of the people function, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes, systems administration, and employee lifecycle management. This position sits at the intersection of technology and human resources, optimizing internal tools to support a growing distributed workforce. By managing critical HR workflows, onboarding compliance, and employee data integrity, the role ensures that international and domestic teams receive exceptional support and that the company maintains compliance across all operational jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize HRIS platforms (such as Workday or Rippling) to ensure absolute data integrity and streamlined employee records management
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating across IT, security, and department heads for a seamless transition
  • Administer employee benefits programs, serving as the primary point of contact for open enrollment, leave of absence (LOA), and carrier billing reconciliation
  • Monitor and maintain multi-state and international HR compliance, updating company policies, handbook guidelines, and required labor posters
  • Generate monthly and quarterly people analytics reports, analyzing metrics like attrition, headcount growth, and onboarding feedback to inform leadership decision-making
  • Cook with external payroll vendors and internal finance teams to ensure accurate, timely processing of semi-monthly payroll cycles

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience in human resources or people operations, preferably within a fast-paced technology or startup environment
  • Hands-on administrative experience with modern HRIS, payroll, and ATS systems (e.g., Rippling, Workday, Greenhouse, or Hibob)
  • Strong foundational knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws, including ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with a track record of driving process improvements autonomously
  • Bonus: Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) and experience managing international employment entities or employer of record (EOR) services like Deel or Remote
