People Operations Manager
Position Overview
The People Operations Manager plays an integral role in fostering a high-performing culture that brings our brand mission and values to life. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, this role partners closely with hotel leaders to attract, develop, engage, and retain exceptional talent while supporting all aspects of the team member experience. The People Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of People Operations initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training and development, compliance, performance management, recognition, and team member engagement. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members alike, helping create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
Requirements for Success
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience, preferably within hospitality or a luxury lifestyle environment.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and team member engagement.
- Experience with Workday, ADP Workforce Now, or other Human Resources Information Systems is a plus.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to support a 24-hour hotel operation when needed.
