Solera Senior Living | People Team At Solera Senior Living, we believe that living well has no age limit and that creating exceptional communities begins with exceptional team members. Guided by our People First philosophy, we are committed to building an environment where team members are supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive. As we continue to grow our portfolio of communities, the People Operations Coordinator will play an essential role in the day-to-day work that keeps our teams supported. This role is the first point of contact for team member and manager questions—answering what comes in each day, helping troubleshoot issues in our HR systems, and supporting the work of making our processes simpler and more consistent. We are looking for a curious, service-minded, and detail-oriented team member who notices the pattern behind the questions and wants to help fix it, not just process it. Reporting to the Director, People Operations, this role is with real mentorship and real exposure—you'll learn our HRIS and people processes alongside the Director, take on more independently over time, and grow as the function grows. This is a full-time - exempt, fully remote position supporting Solera Senior Living's national portfolio. Occasional travel to Solera communities and team gatherings may be required. What You’ll Deliver Day-to-Day Support Serve as a first point of contact for team member and manager HR questions — resolving routine ones promptly and warmly, and escalating what needs a second set of eyes. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, changes, and record accuracy. Assist with onboarding and offboarding coordination, documentation, and follow-through. Maintain employee records and files in compliance with company policy and applicable regulations. HRIS & Systems Troubleshooting Help troubleshoot HRIS (UKG) issues — access and permissions, data errors, workflow hiccups — working through them with the Director of People Operations and learning to resolve more independently over time. Process HR transactions and maintain clean, accurate data in UKG and related systems. Assist with testing system updates and new functionality before they reach the field. Run routine reports and support audits, compliance reporting, and data reconciliation. Process Improvement Track recurring questions and flag patterns to the Director, then help fix the process, system setup, or documentation behind them. Help document and maintain HR processes, job aids, and quick-reference guides for communities and team members. Suggest ways to simplify manual or duplicative steps and assist with rolling out improvements. Partner across People & Culture to keep processes organized, documented, and continuously improving. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years of HR, administrative, or customer-service experience; HR internship or coursework a plus. Comfort with technology and the ability to learn HRIS/benefits systems quickly (UKG experience a plus). A troubleshooter’s instinct — curious about why something broke, willing to dig in, and comfortable asking the Director for help before guessing. Strong organization and attention to detail — you take pride in accurate, tidy records. Excellent communication and a genuinely helpful, people-first approach with team members at every level. Data and AI curiosity — comfort in spreadsheets, an eye for inconsistencies, and interest in using new tools (including AI) to work faster. Learning agility — you pick up new systems quickly and want to grow faster than the role requires. Discretion and good judgment handling confidential information. Ability to juggle multiple requests and prioritize in a fast-moving, multi-site environment. What Great Looks Like At Solera Delivers results that move the business — questions answered and issues closed quickly and accurately, so a community never has to follow up twice.Treats innovation as the standard, not the exception, and uses data and AI fluency to work faster, catch inconsistencies, and improve a process rather than just maintain it.Leads with clear values and shows up the same way when no one is watching — the record is accurate whether or not anyone is going to check it.Communicates with clarity and courage, explaining things in plain language so people trust the answer and act on it, and embraces new ways of working as our systems and processes evolve.Learns faster than the role requires and seeks out perspectives different from their own — including from the communities we support.Brings real ambition and makes the people around them better, leaving every process they touch a little easier for the next person.Self-aware and emotionally grounded, with the agility to recognize when the playbook has changed and recalibrate — and the judgment to ask before guessing on something that affects a paycheck.
