Join Walmart's Central Fill Network as a Facility People Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the associate experience across our high-impact Health & Wellness operations. As a strategic HR leader, you will partner with facility leadership to drive talent, workforce, and people strategies that enable business success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent pipelines by assessing talent, developing succession plans, and implementing talent programs.
  • Analyze talent data, tools, and systems to diagnose gaps and identify trends affecting the workforce.
  • Provide resources for talent and workforce development, including support for mentorship programs.
  • Leverage talent to create career advancement opportunities and increase associate retention.
  • Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners to develop, communicate, and execute People strategies and action plans to satisfy business needs.
  • Assess and apply data from numerous sources to guarantee accuracy, track plan progress, and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and promote the use of technology and digital solutions by utilizing and sharing resources, information, and tools, and guide associates with the implementation of new ways of working.
  • Support and advocate for associates by modeling Walmart's core values, encouraging team members to lead by example, and resolving People process breakdowns or issues.
  • Identify customer and operational needs by developing and communicating business goals and priorities, and establish contingency plans.
  • Own the talent acquisition strategy for an assigned facility, including planning, communicating, and delivering recruitment strategies to attract and retain a competent and motivated team.
  • Understand, gather, and actively listen to business requirements, skills needed, and market changes to find a varied pool of candidates.
  • Manage recruiting processes, advise the business on potential converts, conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and provide feedback on talent prospects and candidate fit.
  • Negotiate the best possible results and drive win-win outcomes for business and candidates.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to increase process efficiencies.
  • Lead the execution of scheduling within an assigned facility by evaluating and analyzing scheduling and staffing data to improve scheduling performance.
  • Drive the Workforce Management strategy to improve associate experiences, retention, and business performance.
  • Manage hourly talent review activities, including coordinating talent programs and initiatives such as quarterly discussions, performance and talent calibration procedures, and annual talent reviews.
  • Integrate data from talent review meetings into recruitment and workforce planning strategies and adjust the workforce plan as needed.
  • Oversee the execution of People practices, systems, programs, and policies to ensure consistent application.
  • Compare program results and performance to defined success measures and company objectives.
  • Direct managers and team members in the execution of People initiatives and address execution and communication gaps.
  • Model compliance with company policies and procedures and support Walmart's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related area.
  • Option 2: Associate's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 1 year's supervisory or human resource experience.
  • Option 3: 2 years’ supervisory or human resource experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related area and 1 year's supervisory or human resource experience.
  • Management experience in human resources.
  • PHR or SPHR Human Resources Professional certification.
  • Project management experience.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).
