People Experience & Learning Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of New Employee Orientation, ensuring a welcoming, engaging, and consistent experience for all new hires.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and internal departments to develop comprehensive onboarding plans prior to each employee's start date.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires throughout their new hire journey.
- Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) and a variety of instructor-led training programs, including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention, clinical support, regulatory, compliance, and other organizational trainings as assigned.
- Ensure training is delivered in accordance with organizational standards while fostering an engaging learning environment that supports knowledge retention and employee success.
- Collaborate with operational leaders, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and People First to continuously improve onboarding, orientation, and training processes.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health) highly preferred.
- At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in a training/human resources role.
- PREFERRED: Experience in the healthcare/human services field.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing Human Capital Management (HCM), Learning Management Systems (LMS), applicant tracking, and onboarding platforms.
- Experience with collaboration and document management systems such as SharePoint or comparable platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new HR technologies and software applications.
- Experience with reporting and data management within HR systems is preferred.
